Nolla Health gets regulatory approval for AI to issue initial prescriptions, a first in the US

Nolla Health says it has become the first organization in the US (and possibly the world) to win regulatory approval for an AI to issue initial prescriptions, making it the first true end-to-end AI doctor. A reviewer who watched the demo notes the AI takes acne patients through a full visit — asking the right questions, building a treatment plan, prescribing when needed — with a clinician still checking in afterwards. For now it covers only acne in Utah.
