Google launches universal Gemini agent embedded across Workspace apps

As part of Gemini at Work updates, Google announced a new Gemini Agent for Gemini Enterprise: a single universal work agent that answers questions, handles knowledge work, generates media, and writes and runs code. It works inline across Gmail, Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Chat, and Calendar with shared memory and controls, adds plain-language data analytics skills, and ships industry specializations for financial services and legal teams.
