American Airlines to bring Starlink to all 1,030+ aircraft, up to 1 Gbps

American Airlines will install Starlink across its entire mainline fleet of 1,030+ aircraft, with installations starting in early 2027 on Airbus narrowbodies, Boeing narrowbodies and widebodies.
- Uses Starlink's Performance Aero Terminal, capable of up to 1 Gbps per terminal
- The mainline fleet carries over 165 million passengers annually
- Passengers will get fast, reliable gate-to-gate internet across a huge portion of American's global network
