Jev 0.4.0 brings semantic ranking and routing to PowerShell pipelines
dfinke · x · 2026-10-08
- Developer dfinke released Jev 0.4.0, a PowerShell module that pipes semantic understanding into PowerShell: new commands find, rank, select, tag, score, and route data by meaning while preserving the original typed PowerShell objects.
- Demo: pipe a failed release-build log through Get-JevRanking 'Which lines best explain why the release build failed?' -Top 3 and the model evaluates each line, returning the three most explanatory log lines.
- The module is framed as "turning messy input into decisions your scripts can act on": typed questions (yes/no, choice, score) return structured conclusions via TypeSafe AI's Jev model. Install with Install-Module Jev, set TYPESAFEAPIKEY; MIT-licensed on GitHub.
