Blogger's take: building your own niche beats chasing trending AI topics
AlchainHust · x · 2026-10-08
Creator Alchain notes that his most viral posts across X, Bilibili, WeChat and Xiaohongshu were about his own small projects — apps, skills, an e-book — not his coverage of major agent products or new models.
His argument: trending topics attract huge audiences but also global competition, a red ocean with little payoff. Content expressing your own personality and creativity builds a niche where nobody can compete with you. Even a small niche can find ample dedicated readers in a big world with increasingly good recommendation algorithms.
