Per Caixin Global's coverage of the Asia New Vision Forum 2026 in Singapore, Chinese companies are stripping out layers of middle management and redesigning jobs around smaller teams as AI reshapes the workplace. Zhaopin chairman Evan Guo said standardized jobs and middle-management roles are already under pressure as AI takes over routine coordination and information-processing work.
