Meta may own consumer AI agents as Google's Gemini agent leans B2B and paid tiers

The author argues Meta has an open road in personal AI agents: Google's newly announced Gemini agent skews B2B and is initially limited to AI Pro/Ultra subscribers, while OpenAI, Google, Microsoft and xAI are all chasing the enterprise agent market — leaving Meta alone focused on consumers.
Notably, only Meta offers its agent on a free tier with generous usage, likely because only Meta has enough idle compute to afford it. The enterprise market may monetize sooner, but conceding first-mover advantage in consumer agents to Zuck could prove a major mistake for the others.
