Sticker price per token misleads: a reproducible cost-per-task method for LLM pricing

IntuitionLabs published an article proposing a reproducible cost-per-task methodology for comparing LLM API pricing, showing that ranking models by sticker price per token gives a very different value picture than real task costs — verified across two of the author's own benchmarks. The article provides the methodology and comparison data for evaluating actual spend rather than nominal unit price.
