SEO prankster says Google staff hand-typed his JS code to find and de-index his back-button hijack test site

Responding to the common claim that "Google could never detect that," SEO veteran Dan Petrovic shares his 2018 back-button hijack experiment: JS redirected users hitting Chrome's back button to a fake SERP and mirrored competitor pages with heatmaps and session recording. Google allegedly hand-typed JS code from a screenshot to locate his test page and removed the entire domain from the index without any Search Console notice.
