Wandercraft calvin-40 carries 40kg, spotlighting robots' gap on heavy 'dull, dirty, dangerous' jobs

Chris Paxton highlights Wandercraft's calvin-40 humanoid, which he says wasn't on his radar: it can carry a 40kg payload, shown hauling multiple tires.
Quoting his own earlier chart built from public data via ChatGPT, he notes very few mobile robots can physically do the "dull, dirty, dangerous" jobs people actually want. The dashed line marks the NIOSH-recommended 51 lbs human limit — the bar brownfield factory/warehouse deployments must hit. Many economically useful tasks need little payload, but almost no robots compete for heavy-carry work.
