Stuttgart-based MNV Humanoids came out of stealth with a $10M pre-seed led by General Catalyst (co-led by Long Journey VC and Credo Ventures). CEO Sandor Felber helped launch MIT CSAIL's humanoid research line and worked on Tesla Optimus; CTO Maurice Rahme spent six years as a technical lead on Boston Dynamics' Stretch. The pair went from idea to walking humanoid in five months. Their robot Roger targets hazardous work like render-safe procedures on unknown drones, which they say it completes faster than a human in a bomb suit.
