Google launches SynthID Universal Detector with OpenAI, NVIDIA, Kakao and soon Apple onboard

Google's SynthID Universal Detector is now live and available to anyone, letting users check whether online media was created with AI. Google is expanding the detector into an industry-wide transparency effort in partnership with OpenAI, NVIDIA and Kakao, with Apple joining soon. The verification portal is globally available in English.
