Korean Startup Neubility Unveils Wheeled Semi-Humanoid Billy, Targets Hundreds of Deployments
CyberRobooo · x · 2026-10-08
Korean startup Neubility has unveiled Billy, a pragmatic semi-humanoid robot: a four-wheeled base handles mobility while a humanoid upper body with two 5-fingered arms handles manipulation. It has 16 DoF and a 360° rotating torso—more capable than a typical delivery robot without the complexity of a bipedal humanoid.
In a demo, Billy drove to a 1.5-meter shelf, picked up a box with both hands, rotated 180°, placed it into its back-mounted storage compartment, and drove away. The setup targets warehouse picking, material handling, and food production. Neubility plans PoCs with four companies including CJ CheilJedang, where Billy will sort ingredients at a food plant, and aims for hundreds of deployments over the next 1–2 years.
