Opus 5.5 Lands on Grok Bot—How to Build a 24/7 AI Quant Research Desk

Anthropic's Opus 5.5 is now live on Grok Bot. Author Avid published a full guide to building a 24/7 AI quant research desk on top of it: agent swarms research ideas, Cursor agents build and backtest strategies, and Grok Bot brings 1M-token context with always-on reasoning.
The architecture splits into seven role-specialized agents: quant desk lead (daily cross-asset briefs), market intelligence, quant researcher, validator, risk controller, portfolio adviser, and execution operator.
Two constitutional rules run through the whole setup: no agent grades its own work, and the lead never overrides the risk limits. The author advises starting with the desk lead and giving every agent a role before a task. The desk is research and paper-trading only; going live requires written limits and explicit approval.
