A viral post called October 6 the greatest day of mathematical breakthroughs in history — at least ten, perhaps a hundred times more momentous than Wiles' proof of Fermat's Last Theorem — and asked where the media coverage was. LucaAmb quipped that such takes come from the "breaking news" folder of some LLM's output, mocking the hype around OpenAI's October 6 math documents release.
