Local LLM + Tripo3D: A Mini 4WD-Style 3D Racing Game Built in One Day
lxfater · x · 2026-10-08
Developer lxfater vibe-coded a Mini 4WD-style 3D racing game in a single day using a locally deployed 100B+ parameter LLM.
What the game includes
- 4 detailed car models, 3 tracks
- 5 swappable components (rollers, tires, etc.)
- A fun special move that flattens opponents
How it was built
- Local large model wrote the game code
- Car models generated with Tripo3D from four reference images, then split into parts
- Parts wired into Godot as selectable/upgradable components
- The LLM then connected gameplay: upgrades, racing, special moves
A full walkthrough video is included.
