CrowdStrike: South Korea bank hack may have been a single attacker wielding ARTEX and multiple AI models
S_OhEigeartaigh · x · 2026-10-08
Following last week's cyberattack on some of South Korea's biggest banks, a new CrowdStrike report suggests the entire hack may have been carried out by a single person, combining the open-source AI penetration tool ARTEX with DeepSeek v4.1-Flash, GLM-5.3, Grok 4.6, and Claude Code. A striking case of AI tools being chained into a real-world offensive operation.
