OpenAI+Anthropic run rates hit ~$105B as US pivots to 'superintelligence'

Nathan Benaich tracks two threads: AGI is out and 'superintelligence' is in, complete with its own US executive order — and Washington need not own the labs to control access, as June's export controls halted Fable and Mythos abroad (Fable returned in July). Europe, he argues, cannot rent its way to AI sovereignty.
On revenue: OpenAI and Anthropic's combined reported annualized run rates reached about $105B by late summer, up from $30B at the start of the year. The startups aren't slowing at $100M either — Legora and Sierra doubled to $200M in about six months, Harvey hit $400M, Lovable reports $600M, and Cursor has been reported above $4B in ARR.
