OpenAI + Anthropic hit ~$105B annualized revenue; Cursor reportedly above $4B ARR

Per the State of AI report, OpenAI and Anthropic's combined reported annualized revenue reached $105B by late summer, up from $30B at the start of the year. Startups keep compounding past $100M: Legora and Sierra doubled to $200M in 6 months, Harvey hit $400M, Lovable reports $600M, and Cursor has been reported above $4B ARR (metrics differ). Metrics' preliminary Q2 data shows AI-native companies growing revenue 256% YoY vs 90% for AI-enabled firms at the 75th percentile in the $1-20M band. Also: AI-assisted drug discovery reaches late-stage trials, with Generate Biomedicines' GB-0895, Enveda's ENV-294 (phase 2a) and Insilico's rentosertib (phase 3) recruiting.
