MediaPipe DecisionMaker docs: stream .tflite weights into Wasm for browser-side decisions
jason_mayes · x · 2026-10-08
Jason Mayes shares the official docs for the new MediaPipe Decision Maker Web SDK:
- Two APIs: direct per-question calls (evaluateBoolean, evaluateChoice, evaluateScore, plus batch variants) or multi-question ClassifierSchema workflows (prewarm → evaluate → classify).
- Model loading: .litertlm / .tflite weights stream directly into 16-byte aligned Wasm linear memory, accelerated via WebGPU.
- Schema config: context prompt plus typed decision questions (choice/boolean/score) with threshold and normalizePrior options; the docs demo a banking support router (department routing, human-handoff flag, severity score).
- Install: @mediapipe/tasks-decision npm package with FilesetResolver.
Useful for low-latency, privacy-friendly client-side classification and routing without a backend.
