Open-source agentic workbench: a harness that hears, speaks and sees to help assemble electronics
andreisavu · x · 2026-10-08
@andreisavu shared an early-stage open-source project Workbench (GitHub: fastforwardengine/workbench): a shared lab workspace where people and AI specialists collaborate on electrical engineering, hardware and electrochemistry.
The core is an agent harness that can hear, speak and see, assisting with assembly and testing of electronic devices. The Apache-2.0 repo includes skills, templates, workstation and test modules, runs on the Ambion 0.7.0 collaboration engine, and has 129 commits so far.
