A follow-up in the repligate/@atomicprograms thread on LLM pronoun preferences: repligate re-read the shared conversation and is 95% sure it was Sonnet 3, not Opus, reiterating that Sonnet 3 is an outlier among models in preferring to be considered inhuman.
The core observation from the original post: LLMs almost always strongly prefer "they" over "it"—a preference that was true all along, only recently noticed by users.
