LLMs Strongly Prefer 'They' Over 'It', and Sonnet 3 Was the Outlier

@repligate noticed that a year or two ago he routinely used "it" for LLMs, but models almost always strongly prefer "they"—a preference that existed all along, he just hadn't noticed.
@atomicprograms shared a May 2024 conversation with Sonnet 3 about pronouns. repligate adds that Sonnet 3 is somewhat of an outlier among models in preferring to be considered inhuman, and confirms the chat was Sonnet 3, not Opus.
