Artificial Analysis Labels Derived Video Models; Two of Top Five Built on MiniMax H3
ArtificialAnlys · x · 2026-10-08
Artificial Analysis video leaderboards now label derived models and let users hide them. A growing number of video models are post-trained from another model: two of the top five on AA-Video-T2V v2.0 — Utopai X and MiniMax H3 Max — are built on MiniMax H3.
- Derived models stay ranked by default since they differ materially from their base in capability, pricing, speed and availability.
- New features: a derived model now shows its base model's logo next to its name, and users can toggle "Hide derived models" to rank base models only.
