SpaceX is seeking roughly $40 billion in financing led by Apollo Global Management to purchase Nvidia chips, per FT reporting: about $10 billion in bank loans plus $30 billion in investment-grade debt, with Apollo selling to investors like PIMCO; the deal is expected to close in 2027. It follows Nvidia's August effort to line up $500 billion with investment giants for AI infrastructure. Musk said the Memphis Colossus 2 cluster (110K GB200, 440K GB300) may more than double by year-end, with 220K GB300s arriving next week.
