Meta, UW et al. open-source Context Language Models that natively manage their own context
RulinShao · x · 2026-10-08
Researchers from UW, Meta Superintelligence Labs, MIT and others (including Luke Zettlemoyer and Pang Wei Koh) released Context Language Models (CLMs), already 600+ stars on GitHub. CLMs natively manage their own context by treating it as a file the model can freely update, letting it learn what to keep or discard. Announced ahead of COLM alongside a Software World release and a bar social hosted with e14fund.
