Developer chrisfirst released an early alpha of NEW RAD CITY, a browser game built with Three.js in just 22MB. The first version cost about $6,500 in API credits and drew 25,000 players within 24 hours.
- 1,780 code-generated textures, 117 unique locations, 270 named characters with dialogue, 294 dialogue trees, 36 main quests, 108 side quests
- The project is open to community co-creation: pitch story ideas, locations, or report bugs and get credited in the game
- Voice acting for characters is under consideration
