Margaret Hamilton, Apollo software lead who coined 'software engineering', dies at 90

MIT announced that computing pioneer Margaret Hamilton, who led software development for the Apollo program and coined the term 'software engineering', has died at 90. Over two decades at MIT she led the team that programmed the first computers to take humans to the moon, and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016.
