Developer iannuttall spotted a change in Anthropic's docs suggesting the new API credits replace the ability to use your Claude subscription inside Claude Agent SDK apps, backing it up with a Wayback Machine capture of the pre-change page. If true, developers running Agent SDK on subscriptions would be pushed onto metered API credits, materially changing their cost structure. Anthropic has not yet confirmed; treat as unverified for now.
