Salesforce tells Dreamforce 2026 customers they may never need to log into Salesforce again

RedMonk analyst Rachel Stephens recaps Dreamforce 2026, where Salesforce spent much of its keynote telling customers they might never need to log into Salesforce again — a remarkable message from a company whose web UI has anchored its business for two decades. Two takeaways: Salesforce is flattening its personas (replacing low-code/pro-code role distinctions with the umbrella 'Trailblazer' as LLMs collide with low-code tools), and it is relinquishing control of the interface, betting that metadata and trust are the platform while the UI on top is replaceable. Stephens calls it a smart bet other enterprise software vendors should study.
