Artificial Analysis launches new music benchmarks: Suno v6 tops both boards, MiniMax leads open weights

Artificial Analysis launched AA-Music-Vocal v1.1 and AA-Music-Instrumental v1.1, built on 1,000 new prompts across 17 genres and scored by a recruited evaluator panel with 37,000+ blind votes. Key results: Suno v6 ranks #1 on both boards (26/31 Elo ahead of Suno v6-mini); Mureka V9.5 jumps 51 Elo over V9 to #3 on Vocal; Lyria 3 Pro/3.5 tie with Mureka on Instrumental; MiniMax Music 3.0 is the top open-weights model (#11 Vocal, #13 Instrumental). New prompts are longer and more complex, and the Vocal board tests lyric-writing without supplying lyrics.
