Anthropic bakes Computer Use and browser toolsets into Claude Python and TypeScript SDKs
ClaudeDevs · x · 2026-10-08
Anthropic announced that Computer use and browser use toolsets are now built directly into the Python and TypeScript SDKs for Claude.
- Previously developers had to write their own loop to map clicks and keystrokes into commands; the SDKs now run the loop and send actions to drivers.
- The API tells you what Claude wants to click or type, significantly lowering the barrier for building computer-use agents.
