Anthropic ships Haiku 5.5: major gains, 75% cheaper and faster than 4.5

Anthropic has released Haiku 5.5, calling it a significant step up over Haiku 4.5 in coding, computer use, and knowledge work. Alex Albert notes Haiku 4.5 shipped just on Oct 15, 2025, and the new model is also much faster and 75% cheaper.
