OpenAI · x · 2026-10-08
OpenAI announced progress on ChatGPT for Teens: accounts identified as belonging to users under 18 automatically get the experience, with protections on by default.
It also previewed College Planner, an upcoming tool for U.S. high school students applying to four-year colleges that brings application requirements, deadlines, tasks, and financial-aid steps together.
The company says it will keep evaluating how these tools and protections work in practice and share what it learns.
