Personal AI assistant Tab has emerged from stealth at a $300 million valuation (funding details undisclosed). Founded earlier this year by Brennan Erbz, Stafford Schlitt, and Ammar Amdani, Tab works by letting users text requests — groceries, travel bookings, gifts — via iMessage or WhatsApp, with the assistant handling them like "texting someone you trust."
Commenters note Tab joins a crowded wave: roughly five similar companies (Instinct, Grokbot, Meta's Muse, etc.) are all selling variations of the same consumer AI assistant concept.
