Google's new federated-learning design logs server access policies publicly

Google Research describes a federated-learning design that uploads encrypted examples, processes them in TEEs, and publishes access policies in a public transparency log. The post notes this doesn't mean training stays on-device, and that TEE/side-channel limitations remain — it's Google's own account, not an independent audit.
