EmDash screens every plugin listing with Cloudflare's Clef decision model
michellechen · x · 2026-10-08
EmDash CMS now screens every listing in its AT Protocol-based plugin registry with Cloudflare's Clef decision model, catching phishing, impersonation, scams, and abuse while preserving open, signed publishing by authors.
- Clef answers bounded questions with typed probabilities (consumable by app code) and accepts images.
- The labeler asks 9 questions about listing text/links (sexual content, hate, violence, phishing, impersonation, scams, spam, deceptive links, moderation manipulation) and 8 per icon/screenshot.
- Links are judged from text and actual destinations, not screenshots, avoiding false flags on ordinary spam-filter screenshots.
- The team says Clef beat the mix of models they previously needed, while being much faster.
