TERMy-24k: First Local Neuro-Symbolic AI Terminal Assistant Goes Open Source
gioscarab · reddit · 2026-10-08
Developer gioscarab released TERMy-24k, billed as the world's first neuro-symbolic local terminal assistant. It combines a deterministic engine that translates natural language into commands, infrastructure for talking to local models via Ollama, and a novel multi-turn context memory approach that lets the deterministic engine and the LLM cooperate on tasks. Everything runs locally. Docs live in the NPC-Forge GitHub repo.
