Microsoft held its Windows and Surface event in San Francisco, with Satya Nadella, Jensen Huang, and Pavan Davuluri discussing how local AI will shape the next chapter of the PC. The centerpiece is RTX Spark, a Microsoft–Nvidia platform for boosting local AI models, creative apps, and gaming in new laptops like the Surface Laptop Ultra. Unlike the consumer-focused Copilot Plus PC initiative, RTX Spark targets AI developers and creators, positioning Windows against Apple's MacBook Pro. Microsoft also teased continued work on Windows 11 performance and reliability.
