TikTok cut instant-ban ad violations from 37 to 13, opening floodgates to scam ads

According to policy documents and four TikTok sources, executives last fall slashed the violations that trigger an immediate advertiser ban from 37 to 13 — more than half — unleashing a surge of scam ads on the platform.
