Following OpenAI's launch of ChatGPT Spaces, developer Anil Matcha released OpenSpaces, an open-source, self-hostable alternative that already has 3.4k GitHub stars. Built on Next.js, FastAPI and Supabase, it offers in-page AI writing, inline image generation, shared workspaces, editable Pages, autonomous Dot Agents, and 53 multimodal models via MuAPI.
