Vercel CLI adds trace span search, letting coding agents debug production from the terminal
cramforce · x · 2026-10-07
Vercel shipped vercel traces search, so you and your coding agents can query a project's trace spans from the terminal without opening the dashboard or hunting for trace IDs.
- Defaults to the newest 100 spans from the last hour; filter by environment, service, span name, status, deployment/request/trace/span ID, or narrow time with --since/--until
- Free-form filters via --query using a KQL subset, e.g. 'span.duration > 2000'
- -- emits structured spans for scripts and agents
cramforce demonstrated an agent workflow: scan production traces for high-impact waterfalls, inspect source for concurrency opportunities, then validate impact by comparing before/after traces.
