Symmetrix-XL: open-source engine simulates 10M atoms on a single GPU
CatAstro_Piyush · x · 2026-10-07
Kairos Materials releases Symmetrix-XL, an open-source inference engine that runs pretrained MACE foundation models to simulate around 10 million atoms on a single GPU. Developed with Dr. Bonan Zhu, Dr. Zeyu Deng and others, it dramatically lowers the compute barrier for very large-scale machine-learned interatomic potential simulations in materials science.
