AI commentator Zvi is running his annual poll asking people to place AI on a technological Richter scale: 10 = the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs or aliens arriving; 9 = agriculture, fire, printing press; 8 = electricity, vaccines, the internet, autos. The underlying question: is AI a civilization-level shift or an ordinary tech revolution?
