Finland orders Google to halt work on two data centers over environmental reviews

Just a month after Google committed $15 billion to AI infrastructure in Finland, the Finnish Licensing and Supervision Agency (LVV) ordered its subsidiary Tuike Finland Oy to suspend construction of data center projects in Muhos and Kajaani until environmental impact assessments are completed, per CNBC.
