NYU's Center for Data Science announced two 2026 Schmidt Sciences AI2050 Fellows: assistant professors Juan Carlos Perdomo and Romain Lopez. AI2050 is Schmidt Sciences' fellowship program funding researchers worldwide on AI's hardest problems, with past awards in the tens of millions of dollars.
