Open-source 22-DoF crab robot Jumper hits 1k GitHub stars with AI-native toolkit
anselm · x · 2026-10-07
KingKong Robotics has open-sourced Jumper, a crab-inspired robot with 22 degrees of freedom that can carry objects and jump, under Apache-2.0 — already past 1,000 GitHub stars.
The repo is an AI-native toolkit: open it in a coding assistant and use natural-language prompts to design appearances (exporting .skin files), create motions and scenes, with RL training, simulation scenes, and deploy tooling included, plus a program to get a free unit.
