Multitap rebuilds Streets of Rage 2 on Tokyo streets, running standalone on Quest 3 at 60fps

Developer gwendall open-signed up Multitap, an engine that reads a game while it runs and reconstructs its world in real time. The demo plays Bare Knuckle II (Streets of Rage 2) mixed-reality style on the actual streets of Tokyo, running standalone on Meta Quest 3 with a PS5 gamepad at 60fps — no PC or streaming needed.
The workflow: reconstruct the game world live, re-render it in new ways (3D in your room first), then remix it. Multitap ships no games — you play ones you own; early access starts with a handful of classics, with more devices planned.
