The agent's ten commandments: record truth, decide before measuring, fix whole classes
GhaffariMaani · x · 2026-10-07
A practitioner distills agent engineering into ten commandments: truth is whatever actually ran, recorded in one place; write predictions and disproof criteria before measuring; grade with the consumer's ruler; compare like with like; accept a claim only via an independent second route; fix whole classes at the owning layer; buy certainty in proportion to the cost of being wrong; unattended work fails loudly; write for the reader's next decision; every failure that reaches someone changes a rule, and the rule set stays small.
