Ben Affleck recounts founding InterPositive in 2022 after AI researchers told him scraped data alone would let models learn how film images are made. He disagreed, turned down offers from AI companies to build it, and instead spent months shooting with cameras and location sensors to create his own training dataset for a filmmaker-focused AI. Netflix acquired the company in March 2026 for $587 million in cash. Full interview on the "One More Question" YouTube channel.
